This ornament is like new, I honestly don't think it was taken out of the box, it was still tightly wrapped when I took it out to inspect and photograph. The box has shelf wear and a rip on the back left side. You place a light from the strand on your tree and it lights up from inside, pretty simple, no moving parts or batteries to replace.
