This book is in fair shape. It's binding is intact, it has shelf wear and some rips to the cover. Two pages are ripped inside, but by thumbing through slowly I believe no pages are missing, but I cannot guarantee it. There is writing on the cover and inside cover. Big Little Books or Better Little Books were small, thick books 3 1/2" to 4 1/2" and 1 3/4" thick. They would have 200-450 pages and they are laid out with a page of writing on the right and a full page of illustration on the left. Stories were often retold from comics, books, movies, novels or radio programs.They were first published by the Whitman Publishing in 1932.
