This little book has lots of wear and rpis at the spine. The spine is intact but just barely. One page is torn out but it is in the right spot, then the last 34 pages are missing, which is where the spine is weak.
Big Little Books or Better Little Books were small, thick books 3 1/2" to 4 1/2" and 1 3/4" thick. They would have 200-450 pages and they are laid out with a page of writing on the right and a full page of illustration on the left. Stories were often retold from comics, books, movies, novels or radio programs.They were first published by the Whitman Publishing in 1932.
