This Little book was copyright 1946. It has yellowed pages, much shelf wear and writing with pencil inside. The binding is intact. It looks as if all the pages are here, just by thumbing through, I cannot guarantee they are all present.
Big Little Books or Better Little Books were small, thick books 3 1/2" to 4 1/2" and 1 3/4" thick. They would have 200-450 pages and they are laid out with a page of writing on the right and a full page of illustration on the left. Stories were often retold from comics, books, movies, novels or radio programs.They were first published by the Whitman Publishing in 1932.
