Box of gold .98" or 25mm Shiny Bright ornaments are in like new condition. Box has some shelf wear, a few bends and the auction house put packing tape on the bottom of the box and up the sides. Film is intact. Made in Japan sold by Max Eckardt and Sons dated 1967. Max Eckardt & Sons founded Shiny Brite in 1937, aiming to create an American-made alternative to German glass ornaments. The company's ornaments were widely sold in Woolworth's stores, especially during the 1940s and 1950s. They sold the company to Poloran Products in 1970
