Box of gold .98" or 25mm Shiny Bright ornaments are in like new condition. Box is not in great shape. It just has the tray the ornaments sit on as its bottom and then a bottom edge, looks as though it was made this way as there is a little flap in the lid that goes in a slit in the bottom. It has shelf wear, a rip, a big bend and the auction house put packing tape on the bottom of the box and up the sides. Film is intact, but it is wrinkled and not attached on all sides. Sold by Max Eckardt and Sons dated 1967. When buying vintage ornaments, you may be getting discoloration, paint loss, crazing and ruined boxes, please be aware of this before ordering. Please see photos as they part of the description.
Max Eckardt & Sons founded Shiny Brite in 1937, aiming to create an American-made alternative to German glass ornaments. The company's ornaments were widely sold in Woolworth's stores, especially during the 1940s and 1950s. They sold the company to Poloran Products in 1970
