This gorgeous hand-painted bowl has a Makers Mark associated with the New York and Rudolstadt Pottery, which operated from approximately 1887 to 1918.The porcelain was imported by Lewis Straus and Sons of New York, later known as Nathan Straus and Sons.The word "Royal" was included in their import mark, leading to the common designation "Royal Rudolstadt". I see nor feel any chips or cracks or major scratches on the bowl. There is some paint loss to the gold on the feet, otherwise everywhere else seems to be just fine. It's a beautiful piece. It is a bit over 7 and 1/4 in in diameter at the top. Please see the photos as they are part of the description
